Pamela Evette believes religious freedom is a foundational American liberty and has worked alongside Governor Henry McMaster to protect it from government overreach. Under their administration, the South Carolina Religious Freedom Act was enacted to keep churches open during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, Pamela has been an outspoken advocate for faith-based pregnancy centers and foster care ministries so they can serve families and children without abandoning their beliefs. As Governor, she will continue to defend religious liberty, stop government interference, and ensure the faith community is free to worship without fear or penalty.
